Sukhmani Sahib is the most popular bani of Guru Arjan Dev ji. It was written for a devotee who was in a lot of pain and mental problems. It is said that anyone who reads the bani with love and becomes absorbed into the bani will get great peace and healing. It can be recited at anytime, although it is common to recite this bani in the morning. It is also great to recite this bani everyday for set periods as it brings great spiritual energy in that time.
